Sleepover Camp – Full Week


Sleepover Camp Schedule:

  • 6:00: Rise and Shine.
  • 6:20: Room inspection.
  • 6:30: Breakfast.
  • 7:00: Temp check and sign in.
  • 7:30: Stables, feeding horses, grooming and stable duties.
  • 9: 00: Riding lesson for 1 1/2 hours.
  • 10:30am: Tuck Time.
  • 10:45: Choice of other activities: arts and crafts, horse theory classes, team building activities, drama and dance, educational activities and social games (social distancing adhered to at all times).
  • 12:30: Lunch and free supervised play time.
  • 14:00: Second riding/ horse activity.
  • 15:00: Tuck Time.
  • 15:15:  Choice of other activities: amazing race, treasure hunt, who’s got talent, scavenger hunt, obstacle course and team bake off.
  • 17:15: Dinner and bath time.
  • 19:30: Evening Activities like camp fires, braying marshmallows, charades, pictionary and other interactive games.
  • 21:00: Lights Out.

Weekly Sleepover Camper’s join us from 17:00 from Sunday evening on the camp start date to 17:00 on the Friday on the camp end date. None of these camp activities are run over weekends.

What do you need to pack for your child when they attend as a sleepover camper.

  1. Bedding, pillow, sheet, blanket and or sleeping bag.
  2. Toiletries, bath towel, dressing gown and pj’s.
  3. Torch with batteries.
  4. Mess Kit (cup, spoon, knife, fork plate, bowl, sponge and drying cloth).
  5. Long tracksuit pants, slacks or jodhpur’s to ride.
  6. T-shirt, short and jean/ long pants.
  7. An old pair of clothes that can get very dirty or for painting.
  8. A pair that they can wear if/when we go on an outing.
  9. Swimming costume and towel (Summer Camps).
  10. School shoes or riding boots or shoes with a heal.
  11. Takkies, running shoes and/or slops.
  12. Sun block, lip ice, a sun hat, face cloth and hand towel.
  13. Jacket or jersey, beanie, scarf and/or gloves.
  14. Horse riding helmet (if you don’t own one we have second hand ones for sale or you can hire one for the week at a cost of R50.00) all our helmets are steam cleaned between camps.
  15. Pocket money of about R20.00 – R30.00 per day – handed to a camp facilitator, for safe keeping between breaks.
  16. Any necessary medication – handed to a camp facilitator for safe keeping.
  17. A bicycle may be sent – please keep all other toys at home. (Not compulsory)
  18. A cell phone may be sent – please keep all other valuables and technology gadgets at home. (Not compulsory)
